Troubleshooting

The source list is empty

Screen Recording permission. Grant it in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then quit and relaunch — macOS does not apply it to a running process.

The destination app cannot see the Syphon server

Syphon only works between processes on the same Mac. If the destination is on another machine you want NDI, which means SpectraMap rather than SpectraBridge. Also check both apps are the same architecture — a Rosetta process and a native process cannot share a Syphon surface.

Output is black

Either the window is minimised, or the application marks its windows as protected. See Capturing a single window.

A watermark appeared

The 7-day trial has ended. Nothing else changed — every feature still works and no project is affected. Enter a licence key and the watermark goes.
